About Camp Suburban
Camp Suburban is the brain-child of two camp-loving school teachers who just happen to be sisters.
Kori Snair, Program Director, is a 2nd grade teacher at Gunpowder Elementary in Baltimore County, and Robyn (Snair) Wolf, Operations Director, is a special education teacher at Glyndon Elementary in Baltimore County. Each sister has over 15 years experience working as a counselor, lifeguard, and aquatics program director at local camps.
Kori and Robyn developed their love for summer programming while shadowing their grandfather, Harry Dubick, who was the athletic director at Camp Airy and later the program director at Sea Colony in Bethany Beach, DE. Both sisters attended day camp at Camp Milldale, in Reisterstown, MD, then sleep away camp at Camp Louise, and worked at Beth Tfiloh Camps as the co- aquatics directors. They estimate they have taught over 5,000 kids how to swim during their collective summer experiences.
When COVID-19 arrived in spring 2020, most camps had to cancel their summer programs. Robyn and Kori teamed up to create a safe, limited enrollment, program at Suburban Club for Summer 2020. After such a successful summer, families asked for Camp Suburban to return for Summer 2021 and beyond -- and here we are!
